Do you ever wonder if folks toss in a low rate just to gain attention? lol Sorry but it doesn't work for me, I'd much rather get an interesting message starting an exchange of ideals.
So if you're just wanting to start a conversation for crying out loud, leave some type of comment as to your reason for your rate or even *gasp* make a suggestion for improvement. I'd love to hear some of those as I'm so less than talented when it comes to fresh ideals for my own profile.

Did you every have so much to say that if you open your mouth to start you might never be able to stop? That's pretty much where I'm at right now. Life is kicking my butt some good some bad but busy no matter which way I turn.
I'd love to pour everything out in a big long letter but there's just no way.
I'm just about ready to hunt up Rat's voodoo doll and get back to winter too!

I got a 1 rate from a young lady and just asked her why, very politely mind you. She instantly changed it to a 10 and said that my reaction was what she was looking for in everybody. Those that asked why politely got re rated. Those that acted childish made her laugh and leave the rate as it was.

I wouldn't worry about it. There are those who seem to feel they are the gurus of "I know what makes a good profile" or are stuck on the word "perfect" which can never apply here because the word is relative to viewpoint. I don't rate like that but new people come along and it is quite evident that what little brains they have ran right out of the hole in their navel.

Gasp... You mean I have to be talented in design, knowledgeable in coding, creative in wording, have all the time in the world to spend here AND give you a 10? WEll .......to hell with that. I will be nontalented, ignorant, and less than creative, and give you no time online....instead. But instead of 10...or 1....I would give ya 100....just for being my friend and all the time offline you want. :)

This has been around since day dot of VR, and it is never going to go away. Amazingly though, MV's and other staffs are not above this sort of behaviour. I have been given a 1 by quite a few of them with no explanation and who later changed their rating when a) we could see the ratings being left, or when they got a staff position. heh.
